IK.990HS is specifically developed as approximate 100% soild protection system to variuos types of floor and wall surfaces. It is a self levelling, easy to apply coating, leaving a seamless surface. It has excellent chemical, abrasion and impact resistance. Can be applied directly in two coats or on IK.930 floor primer depending on the conditions of the concrete substrate.
Indopoxy IK.990 is suitable to use on most concrete floor surfaces in conjunction with appropiate primer for warehouses, garages, chemical or cement plants, factories, aircraft hangars etc. It has high order of resistance to abrasion, chemical spillage and mechanical damage.

All surfaces to be coated should be clean, absolutely dry and oil or moisture free before painting application. Oil and grease should be removed by solvent cleaning.
New Concrete Surface : Concrete should be cured for a minimum of 30 days prior to coating. The moisture content of the concrete should be below 5%. All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from curing compounds, release agents, trowelling compounds, surface hardeners, grease, oil, dirt, old coatings. All poured and precast concrete must also be sweep blasted (preferred) or acid etched to remove laitence. In fact laitance deposits are best removed by Planetary diamond disc grinder or by captive blasting followed by vacuum cleaning to remove dust debris.
Existing Coating : Old concrete need to check first for adhesion to the substrate and then should be coated with IK.930 primer before floor painting. To avoid air bubbles, it is very important to pierce the coating with a spiked roller when desired film thickness is achieved.
