INDOKOTE has designed and manufacturing special polymer based versatile steel primers for four year now. They contain a significant amount of rust inhibitive pigments, which translates to protection from corrosion for extended periods of time before top coating or enclosure. Additionally, as a result of resin modification, they may be top coated with coatings containing strong solvents, such as two-part epoxies and polyurethanes, without fear of lifting the primer.
These special polymer based primers are formulated to accept topcoats, such as epoxies, polyurethanes, lacquers and acrylics, which may contain strong solvents. These primers may be used to prime storage tanks, industrial plants, heavy machinery and other steel that may be exposed to mild or moderate industrial environments.
