Acrylated Polymer based Protective Coating

A single component, low solid, very fast curing, acrylated polymer based single coat finish. Black and other solid shades are pigmented with zinc phosphate to provide anti corrosive performance. This specialized coating is also available in coloured transparent shades to provide a decorative finish in a single coat.

Recommended Use

Indoprotect 3000 is specialized developed coating to provide better durability and protection to casting and forging components, scaffoldings and other heavy machined components for storage or transportation purpose. This product is quick air drying but free from metals like Lead, Cobalt, Cadmium etc. Available in different gloss levels and finishes.

All surfaces to be coated should be clean, absolutely dry and oil or moisture free before painting application. Oil and grease should be removed by solvent cleaning.


Steel : Abrasive blast clean to a minimum of Sa2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007). Surface defects revealed by the blast cleaning process should be ground, filled, or treated in the appropriate manner. A surface profile of 30-40 microns is recommended.


Stainless Steel : Dirt and oils should be removed by solvent cleaning or other suitable cleaner followed by a thorough water rinsing. Sand or abrasive sweep blast to a standard similar to ISO 8501-1:2007 Sa1 to create a surface profile.


Primed Surface : The primed surface should be dry and free from all contamination and Indoprotect 3000 should be applied within the overcoating intervals specified in primer TDS. Area of damaged primer or rework etc should be prepared as per specified standards, either by power tool cleaning or other means.
